FREQUENTLY ANNOYING QUESTIONS.
How do I register as a vendor for the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market?
Registration opens when we announce a new market. We make our announcements via our email list so we strongly suggest joining that to get in on the action. You can do so by clicking here. Please visit the Vendor Registration Page for more details.
How do I know if I’m a good fit to vend at the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market?
We do not accept all vendors. Are you an artist? Do you hawk sweet vintage gear? Do you make handmade jewelry, screen printed posters, tshirts or other handmade and original items? Do you own a record store? How about an alternative clothing store? Perhaps you’re a local band with some sweet swag to unload? Maybe you specialize in unique antiques and interesting collectibles? Taxidermy? If so, you’d be an excellent fit. If you’re looking to unload random items out of your garage/attic or get rid of those baby clothes and toys… we’re not for you. We also do not allow vendors that sell items such as Jamberry Nails, Origami Owl or any other direct sales product based business. All vendors are vetted for approval. If you register and do not meet our standards, we will happily refund your money and wish you well. This is not your grandmother’s flea market and it's not the mall.
Information only tables are not accepted.
How much do tables cost?
We try and keep things affordable. Space are $80 and that includes a 6′ table. You can register for up to two spaces ($80 for each space… tables included). If you are looking to vend at one of our two day events, you may vend one day or the other ONLY. Vendors are not accepted for both days. If you do register for both days, the TPRFM will cancel one day at our discrestion and refund your table fee (for the day we cancel minus a 20% administration fee). We do not include your chairs.
Tables sold out! Now what??
Once vendor tables sell out, they're sold out. We do maintain a waiting list but it's only used when a registered vendor cancels. We then carefully select from that list to fill in the missing pieces. We usually have a few cancellations but not many. Please keep this in mind.
I don’t get paid until next week but I REALLY wanna get a table. Can you hold one for me?
Speaking of Social Media… I’m a vendor at an upcoming flea market and I’d like to send in some images to be showcased. How do I do that?
Here’s the deal… send a handful of images of the sort of things you’ll have for sale to firstname.lastname@example.org (images of your own work, please). We’ll put together a sweet pic stitch for you, throw it up on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and if you include a link to your social media accounts, we’ll even link back to you. Please keep in mind, opportunities are limited. We may not get to yours so don't bitch if we don't.
I’m not familiar with Trenton. How do I find you?
The TPRFM is hosted at the Historic Roebling Machine Shop located at 675 South Clinton Avenue in Trenton, NJ. We’re less than a mile from the Trenton Train Station and are easily accessible from Route 1, Route 295, I-95 and Route 29/129. We are also one block from two different River Line Light Rail stations that run from Camden to Trenton with stops throughout. Parking details can be found by clicking here. Click here for directions from your location.
I have kids and they would love something like this but… punk rock… that’s scary stuff!
Punk rock isn't terribly scary. Stage dives aside, we’re a real lovable bunch. Pinky swear. Bring your kids. We’re family friendly. Kids 10 years of age and younger are FREE.
Are you dog friendly?
We are dog friendly but please be smart about it. We are an inside flea market that draws several thousand people per event. If we're too crowded, we're going to deny you access in the best interest of your four-legged pal.
